The Luxe Life at Loews Hollywood
Views from Every Room
As I left my car with the friendly valet, I was whisked up to the 20th floor to a grand suite in the Loews Hollywood Hotel on Highland between Franklin and the Hollywood and Highland entertainment complex.
The 3,594 square-foot Panorama Suite offered floor to ceiling glass windows with 270° views, a baby grand piano, and in-room Jacuzzi.
After receiving a glass of Prosecco, the General Manager Brian Johnson approached me and welcomed me to his newest endeavor.
Having been with the Loews family for years and recently in charge of the Loews on Coronado Island, he is excited to show off the 31 million dollars worth of work they have completed to this hotel during the last two years.
A Room with a Sensational View
The Wow Factor
Many of the 632 rooms and suites in the new Loews Hollywood Hotel have spectacular views of the Hollywood sign and Yamashiro's set in the hills. Others look out to the neon lights of the El Capitan Theater and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Vistas of Downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean can be found at Loews.
Celebrities enjoy the proximity to events at the Dolby Theatre, home of the Academy Awards.
Locals like to park at the Loews, enjoy a cocktail and then walk up to the Hollywood Bowl to take in one of the summer shows.

Views from the Helipad
Top Of The World Experiences
As I stood up on the exclusive helipad at the Loews Hollywood, a young man took his girlfriend's hand and asked her to marry him.
Loews customizes experiences such as romantic proposals, engagement photo sessions, private dinners and champagne toasts. They will even allow a one-of-a-kind rooftop yoga session.
The open-air yoga series is held 20-stories high, with 360⁰ views of Los Angeles. Presented in collaboration with SERENE Social and exhale Hollywood, which is located within the hotel, Christi Christensen, one of exhale's Master Yoga Teachers, will lead this class at 6:30pm on the last Sunday of each month through the summer. In this exclusive and limited event for women, there are only 12 spaces available per class. Classes are $45 for non-members and $35 for SERENE members.
The starting rate to reserve the helipad for two hours is $2,000 and is based upon availability.

What's New at Loews
The hotel created a new lobby bar called "H2 Kitchen & Bar" (the "squared" represents Hollywood & Highland) designed to encourage both social and literal connection…to the internet. There are power/internet outlets peppered around the base of the bar (in between the purse hooks) and at the communal tables in that connect the bar to the lobby.
Loews rolled out free WiFi throughout all of its hotels and resorts, so both in room guests and people visiting the lobby/bar can connect up to three devices for free.
They are also in the final stages of opening a new Core Fusion studio and expanded fitness center with their spa partner exhale.
A new partnership with FIAT, allows guests to take a FIAT car out for the day.
