Seasonal Events

Over 80 years ago, Marysville became known as "The Strawberry City" due to the prolific strawberry growth capabilities of the area. In honor of this, Marysville holds a Strawberry Festival and Grand Parade every year in mid-June. The event features many activities, and the parade includes a drive by of classic autos.

Biringer Farm, located in Arlington, is a great place to pick - or just buy - fresh strawberries when they are in season.

Boom City, located behind the Tulalip Resort, is one of the largest collections of fireworks vendors in existence. For several weeks leading up to the 4th of July, this becomes an attraction that brings people from many miles away. A large pit is offered to allow detonation of your purchases, and is a wonderful place to watch an endless display of fireworks. Be sure to bring goggles and a hat to ward off the falling debris.

For bargain hunters, there is a huge swap meet held behind the Tulalip Casino during summer months. All manner of goods and wares are available, and it may prove quite interesting just to walk through!

The Farmer's Market, located outside of the Tulalip Resort, offers fresh grown produce and a variety of crafts, including traditional native beadwork. It is open on weekends during the summer months.

Arlington Municipal Airport (AWO) offers a wide variety of aviation services throughout the year, but they pull out all the stops in July during the Arlington Fly-In. This festival offers many activities, including - of course - plane rides!
