Sydney (Australia) is a great vacation spot for people and can be visited all around the year. There is something for everyone including a great shopping marketplace, fine dining restaurants, exciting sports and great art events like the Sydney Writer's Festival , Sydney Film Festival, the City2Surf events etc.

In summer the city gears up for the Christmas, New Year's Eve and a season of exciting sports like golf, tennis, cricket, etc. Sydney is also famous for its beaches which feature great waves to rock pools, cafes shady picnic spots, etc. Also some of its best dining places are near the beach.

Arts and Culture - Sydney has blockbuster exhibitions, museums which showcase seafaring history, contemporary art, aboriginal art and interactive science displays. Performing arts attract visitors to venues like Sydney Opera House, The State Theater etc. Sydney's summer wouldn't be complete without the Sydney Festival which hosts a large number of concerts from international artists, eclectic theater, indigenous performances, burlesque circus among others.

Beaches - With so many bays and beaches around Sydney, most sydneysiders love spending a part of summer in the homes. Start your perfect day with a jog around the beach or a leisure walk and have a cup of coffee in the beach side cafes. There are many secret beaches too near the harbor which are perfect spots for your picnics. If you plan for some action then there is surfing and scuba diving for you. There are also a number of water sports like sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or high speed jet boating.


Family and kids - There are a number of attractive and interesting spots around the city like the Taronga zoo, WILDLIFE Sydney, Manly SEA LIFE sanctuary, etc. These spots form a reason for tourists to throng in with their families to spend their vacations.
