Pittsburgh PA

Pittsburgh PA is a large city and there are many blogs dedicated to the Steeler Nation. Honestly there are probably too many. Who wants to go through blog after blog only to get the same information? I surely don't. That is why I have created this list, it showcases the best Pittsburgh blogs, and by reading these three you will find out everything you need to know about our great city. The three categories everyone wants to know about? 1)Happenings in the city and the best places to eat. 2)Beauty and trends going on right now in Pittsburgh. 3)We are a city built on we want to know the latest news about our teams! I hope you enjoy this list as much as I enjoyed putting it together!

Stuck In Pittsburgh

Stuck In Pittsburgh is an awesome site. This site is exactly what it claims to be, "A guide to living, working, and having fun in Pittsburgh. This site covers many topics on the city such as things to do in the city, food and drink, where to live, jobs in Pittsburgh, dating, and so much more. All of Pittsburgh should get familiar with this site, there is tons of information on here that is beneficial to all of us in the city.

The site is ran by Mike Martin, an extremely nice man, and he regularly accepts guest posts. If you have something to say about the city or know of something going on, visit his site and drop him a line! Either way, this is a site you need to check out!

Beautiful In Pittsburgh

Beautiful In Pittsburgh covers what else...being beautiful in Pittsburgh. This site covers all areas of beauty. Make-up reviews, beauty problems, the newest colors for summer, and even the new must have bags for this season. The site focuses on 'women in the real world', so no product blogged about on this site be unaffordable to the masses. You will never see a $150 bottle of lotion on this site. Instead this blog focuses on great products at even greater prices, something we all want to know about!

This site is ran by Lisa Stover, yours truly, and I accept guests posts as well. If you are a Pittsburgh girl and have an interest in beauty, visit the site and let me know!

DaveysRecipeRead, A lot of people don't realize that we weren't that great of a team consistently until the "Chuck Knoll" years. The Steelers have worked very hard to get to where they are today. Most of our players could go somewhere else and get more money, but Pittsburgh is about football. They know that they are going to a super bowl with us, they know they are going to be pushed and tested until they become the best player that they can possibly be. We win because our players are truly playing for the love of the sport, not just a huge paycheck (although the pay is a plus lol).

4 Supes within the space of 6 years including a World Series championship in 1979 to go along with the super bowl win of that same year. What town can match it? I love Detroit and Cleveland fans because they are stubbornly, even fiercly loyal (only two teams who still haven't been to a Supe) but Pittsburgh fans are also loyal and the older ones never forgot those many winless years before Chuck Knoll arrived. It's a mystique, a kind of magic that the town has managed to keep and build on since those days.
