In the city of Little Rock, AR , there are several old fashioned hardware stores. In other words, hardware stores that have been in business over twenty years.

Many of the Mom and Pops, and family run stores, have been bought up by ACE Hardware, and for many, they allow the hardware stores to retain their own-town personality.

There is a feeling of security in knowing, if you need plaster of paris, a dolly, wheel-barrow, a dutch oven, hand pushed lawn mower, space heater, screen, the pull thingy, that hangs from the ceiling fan chains, that you can go into an establishment such as Kraftco, and get real customer service. They even hand write the receipts in triplicate, and stand by their goods and services..

Kraftco Hardware store, on Cantrell Blvd, in Little Rock, AR has been there a long time. It is old-school service, and mostly American made products. The prices may be a little higher, but what you get is in the door, out the door and beyond service and quality.

Another benefit that I find in a place like Kraftco, is that usually the people working there are that they are respectful, and care about the customer and that the sale is satisfactory for both parties.

Unfortunately, there are many younger Americans walking around today, who have never had the pleasure of genuine customer service. Thank you Kraftco for enduring, and for letting me wander around with my camera.

Kraftco Hardware store has everything you would need in the "hardware" section, modern and from yesteryear.

They have been in Little Rock for over 50 years. They carry nails by the box, nails by the pound, concrete nails, and wood nails. They have good customer service, like the good ol' days.

Interestingly enough, they carry Dutch Ovens, putty, Air Filters, garden wagons, Hand Trucks, space heaters, the American Flag, chains, grass seed and more...
