Superman: Escape From Krypton is another steel roller coaster that riders just love to go on over and over again. Superman: Escape From Krypton is located at the Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. Superman is another four hundred foot tall steel coaster and with a top speed of 100 mph it belongs in the elite class of steel roller coasters.

Leviathan is a Canadian favorite located outside of Toronto Ontario at Canada's Wonderland. Leviathan is a beast at over three hundred feet high, top speed of 92 mph and a first drop of 306 foot drop. Leviathan is considered a giga roller coaster.

The Millennium Force is located at the Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky Ohio. The Formula Rossa is a bit different from other steel roller coasters that are on this particular top ten however what it lacks in size it makes up for in speed. As in 149 mph to be exact. The Formula Rossa is located at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This steel roller coaster does not depend on a drop to get its speed but is shot out of the blocks where it will reach its top speed in five seconds. If you are willing to go on The Smiler I hope you like to be upside down for this particular steel roller coaster has fourteen inversions. The Smiler located at the Alton Towers in Staffordshire United Kingdom. Other than the extreme high number of inversions of this ride it has trouble competing on this list in terms of size and speed.
