Travel Diaries - My Favorite Globetrotting Destinations

Being a travel enthusiast, I have been globetrotting various amazing destinations across India and abroad. I visited the paradisal spots on the south and north of India that are Kerala and Kashmir. I visited the crowded and lively cities like Mumbai, London, Paris. I visited the silent places in India as well as in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany.

There is no comparison about which can be my favorite spot. Every spot has its own significance. But, if I were to pick from 5 favorite destinations then I'll choose Austria, Switzerland, Paris in Europe and Kerala and Kashmir in India. These locations have provided me with lifetime memories which I always recall in my leisure time.

Let me give you a quick glimpse of these 5 memorable and magical destinations.

Austria is actually as beautiful as Switzerland. It may not be as famous as Switzerland, but it is indeed one of the worth visiting European destinations. The winter sports in Austria are world-famous.

I was lucky to be at Salzburg last year, which is an alluring place where you can visit the location where " The Sound of Music" film was shot. Love-lock bridge on the river Salzach is a well-known bridge where there are padlocks tied to the railings by the lovers.

The Hallein salt mine impressed me. What an excellent infrastructure inside a mine! They maintained the climate under the mine to make it easy for the visitors. I enjoyed the wooden slides. Salzberg is also the birthplace of the world-famous musician"Mozart."

Swaroski the museum full of crystals sparkled my gaze. The variety of crystals is awe-striking. I liked the entrance to this museum. You can have a look of the entrance in the below image -

Paris is a dreamland for all the tourists across the globe. I can't forget this city. Paris will be treasured in the depths of my memory's mind. The flashing Lido show and Paris's nightlife are enthralling.

Lido show is filled with sparkling clothes and dazzling scenes which makes it exceptional. The blinking Eiffel tower at night is a spectacular treat to the eyes of travel lovers like me.

If you want to revisit your childhood, Disneyland in Paris is the ideal spot. I felt like my childhood days are back. There were amazing rides and shows. I still muse about the Disneyland months after returning from Paris.

The dynamic and youthful atmosphere near the Seine river of Paris was a delightful experience. The essence of French perfumes on my tuxedo still brightens up my face.

Kashmir is heaven. I came across its heavenly beautiful nature, and I was bewitched. Indeed, a Heaven on Earth experience.

Kashmir is embellished with chinar trees, mind-blowing flowers, everything covered in green along with the snow-capped mountain tops in summers and everything dressed in white in winters. In fact, each season reveals a different and unique face of Kashmir's nature.

A two days stay at the boathouse in the dal lake was the most wonderful stay of my travel diaries so far. I keep on looking at the photo of me resting inside the luxurious interior of the houseboat.

I consider the ride of shikhara at the dal lake as my journey through the utopia. From the ancient kings to the recent Bollywood industry, Kashmir is always a center of attraction.

Kerala is God's only country, not only because it has a lot of holy locations but also because of the richness in the environment. It is enriched with coconut trees brimming all across the state.

Kerala offers exotic lagoons, lakes, and beaches which are always on the mainstream of the foreign tourists when they come to visit India.

This southernmost state rich in greenery is the home to different kinds of spices. The sight of the Tea and Coffee plantations while traveling through the ghats made me feel like I should change my residence address.

A stay inside a houseboat at Alleppey backwaters is a captivating experience for the backpackers. You can find various temples in Kerala well-known for their outstanding artistry. Watching the "Kathakali" performance is a unique treat for globetrotters.

There are no perfect adjectives to describe the beauty of Switzerland. I was lucky to visit this paradise in the year 2019. To stay in Engelberg was an out of the world experience for me. The two peaks namely the mount Titlis and the Jungfraujoch piqued my ecstasy.

The high altitude fun consists of snow flyer, cliff bridge, restaurants, glaciers, alpine mountain range, and much more fun. You reach the top of Titlis by a cable car whereas you reach the top of JUngfrajou by train.

Jungfraujoch is the highest railway station in the entire Europe. Both the titis and Jungfrau which is also called the top of Europe is worth watching. I was amused by the panoramic view of this awesome snow world.

The nature of Switzerland has attracted Bollywood and Hollywood. Switzerland is the most ideal dream destination for romantic couples. Switzerland's Rhine falls is the most forceful waterfall in Europe, which attracts numerous tourists each year.

Still, I must say that I haven't traveled much. I'm thinking about flying to the Scandinavian countries. I'm sure the Scandinavia will also get included in the above list of my favorite tourists' destinations.

I have a craze to visit the USA since my childhood. I haven't been to the US yet. I'm hoping to flourish my travel diaries with phenomenal places across the globe. But the above 5 destinations that gave me some golden memories will always have a place inside the core of my heart.
