Each of the activities above are linked to Ventura's Newspaper, The Star Free Press, where you can find all of these events, and the details of what they are and who would be interested, along with the age groups.
You can also find many of the other things that makes Ventura the place to go on vacation, like all the places there are to dine. You will also find that Ventura's weather never changes too much, and most days you will find that the sun is out and the beaches are calling.
Below you will find a few more pictures of other events that we have here, a couple of which have already happened, like the county fair, but most of which you still have to look forward to year round.

The Point, easy exit and back to freeway
Ventura's Coastline
As you can see from the above map, which is actually a satilite view, there is only one freeway that goes through Ventura, and The Point, or sometimes called "Surfers Point" is an easy exit from the freeway, being only about two blocks both on and off the freeway.
There is ample parking, and on the weekends there are many different local art shows and festivals right on the boardwalk which stretches from the point to the wharf. On the wharf itself there are restaurants and a bar for easy access without having to fight traffic for lunch or dinner.
Most of ventura's coastline iis filled with many stores, shops, and many other amusing places to visit and spend time.
So, as it goes for someplace to come for a good time, Ventura is the place to go, for outdoor fun, good weather, good food, and out of the ordinary activities, like poetry readings, wine tastings, and much much more.....
Whether you are the type of person who likes the five star hotel and restaurant, or if you prefer to camp, you will find the accommodations here to your liking. Even if you do not have that much time, and are just looking for someplace to spend the day on your way to your vacation spot, this may just be the place to do that too.
