Welcome to Miami - Miami Florida photos with Will Smith music video

Updated on August 19, 2013

South Beach, the celebrity mansions, the clubs, the excitement. Miami has not stopped being the place to be. I've visited several times and you don't need any particular type of personality to party up in Miami. There's a little something for everyone. Most of these photos below were taken from a touring boat that gave a fairly decent view of mansions albeit from a distance.

Many, many celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Estefan and the late Versace own[ed] property in Miami. Like Will Smith's famous song, when you speak of MIami, you speak of welcoming sunshine, beach and sand. Florida beaches are some of the best in the United States.

Eva Mendes makes an appearance in Will Smith's Miami video. As related to my articles about actors who work well together, Will and Eva went on to act together in the film, Hitched, several years later.

Will Smith's Miami is one of those classic music video hits that show you just how much fun a place Miami is. Dance hits by Gloria Estefan are also sampled in the music.

It's fairly easy to book excursions from your hotel in Miami. You can speak with your hotel concierge about featured excursions. A great one to take advantage of is a trip on a tour boat.

Depending on the length of the tour and the amenities, such as food and beverages, tour boat excursion prices can range quite a bit, but it is possible to take a tour for very low cost (Under $40 for less than 1 hour.) This can give you wonderful photo opportunities. Those celebrity mansions on the shoreline are some of the many things you will see.

Hi guys- hubber-2009 and sukkran, thanks so much for commenting on this hub. I just love Miami and definitely recommend it as a travel destination. hubber-2009, so sorry that I can't really state an answer to your question about whether that metro zone is one of the safer ones, but I generally think its best to travel in a group for the nightlife either way.
