Zlatni Rat - Beautiful Croatia Beaches

Zlatni Rat which in translation means golden horn is one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. It is well known travel destination and real paradise for all fans of windsurfing. The beach is really unique and unusual place and many people enjoy their summer vacation there. The beach is jutting into the sea like a giant tongue and that shape and the clear blue water are among the best reasons for the popularity of the beautiful beach.

Zlatni Rat is situated on the BracIsland, which is one of the highest islands in the Adriatic Sea. The amazing golden beach covered with small pebbles and surrounded by beautiful and majestic pine forest is great opportunity for many people to improve their windsurfing abilities. Although it seems incredible, especially from bird's eye view, the beauty  of Zlatni Rat is not e only reason the beach be a really special place. Zlatni Rat is listed as one of the most extraordinary places on the planet because its shape changes depending on wind and sea level. So, if you like variety and the adventure and joy are your second and third name, then Zlatni Rat is the right place for you.

The beach isn't very long, only about 600 meters and it is really hard for all people who desire visit and enjoy the beach. Although the beach isn't very famous in Europe and there are many better known beaches, thousands of tourists from around the world visit the beach every year. Most of them are surfers who came to this paradise place to ride the famous "Mistral" - the famous wind which turns Zlatni Rat form usual beach to one of the best windsurfing spots on the planet. Sometimes the beach is overcrowded and you have to be there really early in the morning in order to feel comfortable and close to the sea.

Zlatni Rat is great place for fantastic family vacation. The opportunities to try different water sports and attractions are unlimited and amazing. You can try scuba diving, jet skiing, sailing, fishing, banana boat, parachuting, beach soccer and volleyball and many other activities. The underwater world is amazing and if you are not familiar with the diving, you can always try snorkeling and still to enjoy the beauty of the underwater kingdom of Zlatni Rat. During the summer the temperatures are really high, but the best thing about the beach is that you can always find salvation in the near pine forest. A walk in the forest will easy make you forget about the daily stress and think about only the joy in the life.

Near the beach is located the beautiful town called Bol. It is another calm and quiet place where you can take a walk among the beautiful buildings and take some of the most romantic pictures in your life. The village is isolated from the other towns on the BarcIsland by 800 m high mountain ridge. If you try to rent a room in some of the hotels in the town, you must hurry up, because during the summer season it will be rally hard for you to find free accommodations. The price for one night in most of the hotels is between $30 and $50. The town is charming and beautiful, carrying peace and harmony. Zlatni Rat and Bol - the perfect places for your summer vacation, right.

    So wild 'cuz there's a Zlatni Rt in Rovinj, too. I've never been to Brac, but I lived in Rovinj and visited Zlatni Rt almost daily in the summer.

    We stayed here in October 2011, originally we reserved 3 nights, but were so impressed that we extended our stay to 5 nights. Amazing beach...

    I loved Croatia and its beaches when I visited many years ago. The blue Adriatic is the finest swimming I have ever enjoyed.
