Buy Your Disney Souvenirs for Less Before You Go to the Park

I know what you are thinking, who doesn't love Disney World? While this is probably true, I think it's a bit different for me. I don't just like Disney World; I LOVE it. It is one of my favorite places in the whole world and makes me feel like a kid every time I visit.

Seeing Disney through Kids' Eyes

While I have always been a fan of Disney, the first time my husband and I took my daughter was an incredible trip. She was four years old and seeing the magic of Disney through her eyes was so much fun for me. There was something truly magical about the happiest place on Earth when you visit with a child who is just amazed by everything you see, everyone you meet, and all the sites there are to see.

My Disney Trip Summer 2013

This past summer, my husband and I traveled to Disney World once again with our now nine-year-old daughter. Much to my surprise, the trip was very different. When we first went to Disney, my daughter was mesmerized by the characters, the scenery, and the beautiful shows. This time, she only wanted to tackle the rides such as the Tower of Terror and The Rock 'n Roll Coaster by Aerosmith. I was a little bummed about the magic being gone, but then my daughter asked for a very special souvenir. She desperately wanted Minnie Mouse ears Not only did she want these ears, but she wanted me and her eleven-year-old cousin that joined us on vacation to wear the ears as well. I was so happy that we ran over to the nearest booth in Hollywood Studios to buy the ears right away, and we happily wore them for the rest of the night and into the next day.

Why Minnie Mouse Ears Made me so Happy

I was overwhelmed when my daughter wanted these ears because it reminded me that even though she was getting bigger, she was still a little girl, and being in Disney World made her feel like it was okay to act like a little kid for awhile, just like it does to me every single time I visit.

If you are looking for a great Disney World or Disneyland souvenir, I would recommend these Minnie Mouse ear headbands. Even better, if you buy these headbands before you head to Disney, you can save a great deal of money. When I bought these exact ears this summer, I believe we paid about $14 a piece, but you can buy the same ears for a fraction of the cost elsewhere.

Little Kids Can't Leave Disney Without Their Favorite Disney Plush

My daughter has a Minnie Mouse plush from every visit we have taken to the resort. However, unbeknownst to her, I didn't purchase her Minnie Mouse plush at the resort. Instead, I bought it before we left and delivered it to her while we were on vacation.

Deliver Disney Souvenirs Santa-Style

If you don't want your kids to know that you purchased their Disney souvenirs before you left, deliver their Disney treats Santa-style. If you have never been to Disney before, you may not know that staff members at each and every resort are incredibly friendly and truly want you to have the best experience possible. With this in mind, feel free to talk to the staff at your resort with help delivering your children's Disney gifts.
