Aside from A very Cheap cost for travelling Philippines, it's surely worth the time and effort to come and see the natures and awesome beaches you'll never forget! Are you ready to explore the Philippines tourist attractions? You gotta be choosing what suits your interest because there are lots! I tell you, there are lots of travel destinations that you can find in the Islands of my home country, for some info, this tropical country consists of 7,107 islands! but here are some lists that for me I find them few of the best and worth travelling for! And this is something Filipinos must be proud of!
Boracay
The most popular beach resort for all tourists! Boracay is a tropical island about an hour's travel by plane from Manila. It is a tiny spot of a beautiful paradise about seven kilometers long and only one kilometer wide. There is an undeniable nice environment around Boracay where walking barefoot than slippers is much more comfortable. It has the finest white sand beaches you will ever see. Its white, powder-like sand, warm, crystalline waters and pleasant weather supply the scenery for relaxing , solitude, with loved one, or partying. Boracay is a paradise of many, providing everything the tourist could probably want from a holiday vacation. With apparently endless choice of sports and activities available. Since Boracay is a main destination of tourists from all over the world, international cuisine can be found everywhere. Whichever restaurant you end up in, remember to order a fresh fruit shake. It is absolutely a part of the Boracay experience!
Siargao Island
Aside from Boracay which has talcum- fine sand, another tourist spot has been found in the province of Surigao Del Norte. A new beach haven has been discovered in the Philippines located 800 kilometer southeast of Manila.
The tear-shaped Siargao Island is a great place for relaxing, sun bathing, partying and for surf enthusiast or even beginners. Lying on the eastern part of Surigao del Norte and on southeastern tip of Mindanao, this newly discovered tiny Siargao island brag of its white sand beaches just like Boracay and its waves which a surf buffs would surely love.
The Chocolate Hills In Bohol And The World's smallest monkey
The Chocolate Hills can be found on the island of Bohol in the Central Visayas.
The Chocolate Hills has exactly 1,268 hills in number, sizes vary from 30 metres to the biggest having 120 metres in height. They are an awesome sight. From a distance they look completely well- proportioned like a half ball shaped that has grown out of the ground. They get their name from the fact that, when the leafs become brown, during the dry season they resemble chocolate hill. As you can see from the photo on thumbnail, they are somewhat unique and it is hard to imagine that mother earth could create such nice and numerous perfect domed- shape hill.
The Chocolate Hills are seen over an area of 49 square kilometers, spread throughout the towns of Carmen, Sagbayan and Sierra Bullones in the center of Bohol Island itself. However, up to now, even experts have not reached concurrence on how they where formed. The most acceptable geological theory is that the hills were the result of the weathered formations from thousands of years ago.
Tarsiers
Said to be the smallest monkey in the world, its classification is confusing although formalist point out it’s not a monkey,.They are characterized by their thin fingers, small bodies and a pair of huge eyes. The Philippine tarsier can turn its head at 180 degrees. It needs to do this because the socket of its eyes could not move. Oh and these little tarsiers look very slow and relaxed, just like a Koala, but don’t let that fool you because they move really fast. Fortunately, the tarsiers are harmless and pretty laid back so you can definitely take some pictures next to them or even holding or touching them!
Chico River
If your interest are the extreme sports and exciting sightseeing trip then this stretch of adrenaline-rush whitewater is absolutely for you!
Chico River lies in Kalinga, Mountain Province, Philippines. Mountain tops and sides give an awesome full view of the winding Chico River. Although it is classified among the extreme sports, you can still bring your own family to enjoy it and get them Wild over Water. People of all ages and athletic capabilities, with or without experience in rafting can challenge the rapids and enjoy the wild fun on the river. Its waters are coming from Mt. Data and cover the whole of Central Kalinga.
Banaue Rice Terraces
One of the top travel destinations in the Philippines, Banaue is one of the cities in Ifugao province. The rice terraces and the wealthy culture of its native people, the Ifugaos, make Banaue, an interesting hot spot for tourists in search of different experiences. They are known in that for 2000 years they have molded the mountains in accord between the people and the nature successfully. Located on top of a plateau, this is the right place for viewing the world's famous Banaue Rice Terraces, and for those who didn't know, it was the Eighth Wonder of the World in the year 2005.
El Nido Palawan
El Nido is one of the coolest place in the island of the Philippines. It is Located in Palawan. There is simple living, hospitable people, awesome seascapes and gigantic landscapes. Many people refer El Nido as a Paradise, from the rise above the marble cliffs to its white sand beaches with crystalline waters. You will also find enticing lagoons with peaceful -green clear water, a various kinds of wildlife, and caves that can take you to secret beaches. This is one reason why you have to travel Philippines
El Nido is an alluring spot for island hopping. It is absolutely relaxing and inspiring place for kayaking in hidden lagoons, snorkeling or scuba diving with fishes, mangrove tours, fishing, exploring and hiking to islands, sunbathing in a white sand beach and some other stuffs you can do everything under the sun!
El Nido is considered as an exhibit of Palawan's various wildlife and environment. It has been stated by the Philippine government as a protected area.
It is the enormous landscape, crystalline waters, and secret lagoons that attracts and captivates most tourist to El Nido.
It's a beauty above and below the sea!
Underground river Palawan
A dazzling work of Nature can be found about fifty kilometers north of Puerto Princesa City on the province of Palawan in the Philippines
This underground river long ago was believed as the sacred acknowledgement of the gods that no one dared to enter for fear of punishing them. This subterranean river remained unexplored for hundreds of years until the early seventies when a group of cave bugs entered the cave mouth of the underground river to explore the inner sanctuary.
