The Max Mirani Poll!
How do you like the Max Mirani Move?
A Few Simple Packing Tips! - Travel Wisely
When traveling by air, your Max Mirani is considered a Carry-on bag, it is small enough to take aboard the airplane and fit in the overhead luggage compartment, although it is too wide to be pulled through the aisles, the problem is easily solved when rolled in the upright position, you also have the option to carry it!
Your Max Mirani Move will easily fit through airport x-ray machines, however, please remember that it is up to individual carriers whether your Max Mirani Move complies with restrictions for specific flights. Please check with the ticket desk prior to proceeding through the security checkpoints. Remember stay safe - stay secure, always be aware of where your luggage is at all times, especially when you have your Max Mirani Move in tow, after all it's certainly a desired piece of luggage.
- Checked Baggage: This is your bag that is checked in at the airport ticket counter or Cruise Line Terminal etc, it is not accessible after you hand over to the airlines/cruise lines until you arrive at your destination or cabin. All checked bags are 100% security screened.
- You should avoid at all costs, packing any of the following items in your checked baggage: Cash - Passport/Travel Documents - Laptops - iPads/iPods - Cameras - Jewelry or any Fragile Items. You should check with individual airlines/cruise lines regarding their policies on prohibited items.
- Over-packing a bag is a common mistake most people make, especially when traveling by air. Firstly, it's going to cost you for excess baggage and secondly, security screeners take very little care and attention when re-packing if they have opened it for inspection.
- If your like me, you carry chargers, leads etc for all your on the road gadgets, don't throw them in a bundle, spread them out around the baggage, that way screeners can identify, if not, your more than likely to have the bag hand searched! Same goes for books/documents, don't stack them on top of each other, spread them around.
- Best not to pack any food or drink items, including alcohol, in checked baggage, and remember, don't attempt to hide any prohibited items in any of your luggage, it will be found!
- Make sure your checked bags/carry-on bags/laptops etc are easily identifiable, good rule of thumb is to have identification tags attached to each item, no harm in placing additional identification tags inside your luggage also, especially your Max MIrani Move.
- Gifts - Best not to wrap, wait until you reach your destination before wrapping, if the security screeners cannot make out exactly what is located within, they will require you to unwrap the item(s).
- Remember if in doubt, always check with your carrier before departing home! Stay Safe - Stay Secure.
