Dubai is a starting point to visit the neighboring emirates or the Sultanate of Oman. Renowned for gigantism, shopping and rediscovering tradition, or for luxury and more peaceful pace of life, Dubai is constantly changing. Dubai is a work in progress. Futuristic buildings rise from the desert, highways soar out of sight, and at night the cranes illuminate the sky.

Under landscapes, must see the oasis of Al-Ain, the desert, the oasis of Liwa, nature of Sharjah. On the coast, visit the lagoon of Khor Kalba, Island Siniyah, Jumeirah palaces, the Abu Dhabi corniche, the palm islands of Dubai, Sharjah coast. For flora and fauna, it is the hawks and the reserve of Sir Bani Yas.
On arts and culture, visit the Hatta Heritage Village, Dubai Museum, the Julfar site, Museums in Sharjah. Activities and recreation are however the Ski Dubai, Dinner submarine Cruise on the Creek, the proposed activities in Sharjah.
Shopping for souvenirs can be done at festivals or at Souk Madinat Jumeirah.
