The farm work program

Our farm work program offers you guaranteed farm jobs including food, accommodation and good payment for up to 12 months or even longer if you decide to do a second year of Work and Travel. You get to see and be part of the real Australian outback lifestyle.Everything is organised for you from pick up at the airport, transport, some time off at the beach to get you into the Down Under way of life and 5 days of farm work training in preparation for the work part of your work and travel adventure in the rural areas of Australia. During the training period you will be offered a choice of not only farm jobs, according to your skills and likes, that can take you anywhere in regional Australia.

Work or travel: it's your choice

The decision of where, when and what you will do during your Work and Travel holiday is up to you. Work - then holiday - then work and holiday again, or work first then travel for the rest of your time in Australia, the choice is yours. You can even work and not holiday at all if you like. Try all different kinds of farm jobs during the year or stick to one for up to six months, its your choice but you will get help along the way whenever needed for the whole year of your work abroad. And if you decide to extend into the second year of working holiday - no problem, we tell you how!

The Training Farm

The training farm we are working with has over 1800 employers from the rural areas all over Australia on their books. They are eager to employ you - once you have successfully completed your farm work training - to help them with their businesses either for a shorter or longer period of time. Your skills and experience are matched with the many jobs that are on offer every week, your 5 day introduction to farm work will make sure that you arrive well prepared. There is not only farm work on offer on sheep or cattle stations, farms that grow crops or vegetables and horse facilities but also roadhouses, pubs or hotels, all in rural areas are looking for trained employees. Our participants are very popular with the farmers as they come with the basic skills needed incl. the right attire and attitude. If you come for a working holiday to Australia with technical experience, chances are that you will get an even better paid job.For those of you who would rather not work outdoors there are job options for domestic work, looking after children or helping to teach them, or in one of the countless roadhouses or hotels in the outback and other rural areas in Australia.
