Beautiful Sunset Beach Vacations-Yellow Sunset Photos, Yellow Flowers and a Yellow Boat

Updated on August 16, 2022

Vacations in the Sun

Sunset Beach Vacations-Yellow sunset photos, yellow flowers, and a yellow boat. Going on sunset cruises is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy the end of each day watching a yellow sunset over the calm water while taking yellow sunset photos from my yellow boat, while yellow flowers wave in the wind. It is the perfect way to end a busy day making beautiful sunset beach vacations a yearly priority. Summer is the best time to see the sunset over the water and to snap yellow sunset photos as treasured memories of wonderful times spent with family and friends.

The yellow sunset photos I have taken make up a collection that has included many other colorful sunsets but none so amazing as one like this. The yellow sun setting in the west over a distance island brings joy, especially when shared with others. From our boat, in early summer evenings, we prioritize seeking the best reflective light the sun gives to the sky and the water simultaneously for our photos. Sometimes you will light up the sky in pinks, purples, and reds. At the same time, on other evenings, we find the burning fire-like properties you can witness in this particular photo of Lake Superior near the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

During winter, we stay closer to home, viewing the evening sky from the most southern portion of Northern America, the Gulf of Mexico. The sky often reflects numerous colors; however, we occasionally find the yellow sunset we love illuminating the southern skies. Sailboats, schooners, and oil barges float through the waters of the Gulf, creating a cluttered but peaceful scene.

Yellow Flowers Grace Our Dock - Golden Rod and Water Lilies

Once the evening's yellow sun has set we pull up to our shoreline to store the boat near the yellow flowers growing along side the dock. In the early spring the delicate yellow golden rods begin to erupt creating a carpet that floats gently in the wind. Some might find these flowers the scourge of allergy season, but their beauty far out weighs their effects.

Imagine sitting on the dock with the golden rod waving in the breeze and the yellow water lilies pitching to and fro in the waves of the water. It is certainly a sight that brings me back to this place year after year to witness these events time and time again. Sometimes I rest myself on yes, a yellow towel which matches the colors of mother nature at her best.

As I stroll back down the dock and glance back to catch another glimpse of yellow my eye travel down to the boat sporting a bright yellow stripe. I laugh and wonder if the color of the yellow sunset and the yellow flowers inspired us to purchase a boat in color coordinated to these sights in nature.

A Boat with a BIG Yellow Stripe

A Boat with a Yellow Stripe - For wonderful cruises

The boat with the yellow stripe always takes us to our favorite spot on trips. We search for the sunset every evening in this big boat with a yellow line; wrapped in blankets, towels, and jackets; we motor off to where we know we'll see the sunset. Sometimes met by giant freighters make their last turn for the day between the small islands and into the channel. The crew members often wave to use, delighting our youngest passengers.

Fish leap from the water to make their presence known and remind us that they will be waiting in the morning's light for a chance to put up a fight on the next fishing trip. Laughter and excitement fill the air, and when the trip is over and dusk appears, everyone knows the day has ended.

Making our way to the fireside to warm ourselves with hot cocoa and marshmallows, the day has ended, and everyone is ready for sleep. Dreaming of the next time, we load up the boat with the big yellow stripe, next to the yellow flowers to see our beautiful yellow sunset,

New Amazon Spotlight Personal Review - Our Big Yellow Mugs for Cocoa

We enjoy our cocoa around the campfire in these bright yellow mugs, with their smiley happy faces reminding us how wonderful our sunset trips are. We know we are blessed to have the opportunity to spend time with family and friends on our northern getaway. We have done this for years with our three lovely daughters, who now share this with husbands and children. Our collection of happy face mugs has grown over the years, and our seven grandchildren enjoy them as much as their mothers did when they were youngsters.
