Get ready for summer!

Summer Trends for July-September

Great Topics for Quarter 3

Summer is on the way, and we're excited to share some tips from our friends at Google AdSense on what topics are likely to offer higher CPMs this July through September. Historically, advertisers have been willing to pay more on these types of content during summer. Seasonal Hubs are also very sharable on social media. Since seasonal content starts picking up on sites like Pinterest up to 2 months early, we wanted to give Hubbers a head start. So, if you're looking for topics to write about this summer, consider these:

  • Summer vacations
  • Back-to-school
  • Wedding season
  • Fall fashion
  • Labor day
  • Home and auto insurance sales
  • Mortgage season

Making the Most of Seasonal Trends

For many, the joy of Hubbing is all about writing in a particular niche. Trending topics like fall fashion or home insurance may not fall into that niche, and certainly not all of the summer trends will appeal to every Hubber. However, for Hubbers interested in taking advantage, it's usually possible to incorporate some of the subjects that advertisers want into just about any niche. All it takes is a little creativity. For example, if you love to write about sports, try writing a Hub on why children and teens should have a back-to-school sports physical every year. Love pets? Write a Hub about how to safely and comfortably take a pet on vacation. Arts and crafts? Try a Hub on your favorite DIY fall fashion accessories. With a great imagination, the sky is the limit. :)
