Introducing: Fresh Faces of HubPages
As an effort to welcome and highlight new and promising authors to HubPages, we will be adding “Fresh Faces of HubPages” to our weekly newsletter! We hope this will help establish a readership and bonding opportunities for those just starting out, and familiarize our experienced Hubbers with the growing community.
Starting next week, you'll be seeing a brand new section with a little introduction to the freshness, so be sure to give these Hubbers a warm welcome!
Rolling Disclaimers
We are on a roll with disclaimers, so from here on out we will be releasing two eligible network sites every week. There will no longer be individual announcements on our blog, but we will briefly mention which sites are getting the feature in the weekly newsletter. Remedy Grove and Bellatory are being updated today (and this is their announcement).
Also, on account of the holidays, there will be a *very* brief pause in December. But rest assured, all eligible sites will be getting their own disclaimer with the following language, if pertinent to the content:
“This content is accurate and true to the best of the author’s knowledge and should not substitute for diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, prescription, and/or dietary advice from a licensed health-care professional. Do not stop or alter your current course of treatment. Drugs, supplements, herbs, essential oils, and miscellaneous ingestibles may have dangerous side effects. If pregnant or nursing, consult with a qualified professional on an individual basis. Seek help immediately if you are experiencing a medical emergency.”
“This content is for informational purposes only and should not substitute for formal and individualized diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, prescription, and/or dietary advice from a qualified medical professional. Do not stop or alter your current course of treatment without consulting with your health-care provider. Pregnant or nursing women should be evaluated on an individual basis. Seek help immediately if you are experiencing a medical emergency.”
- Financial-Legal-Technical-Services
“This article is accurate and true to the best of the author’s knowledge. Content is for informational or entertainment purposes only and does not substitute for personal counsel or professional advice in business, financial, legal, or technical matters.”
As always, reach out to us if you have any questions regarding disclaimers. We hope that with finalizing this feature, it will create a feeling of trust and security in our readers. This should make your job as an author easier, so you can focus on doing what you do best, writing.
