What Is the “Quality Assessment Process”?

The Quality Assessment Process (QAP) is simply the process by which we determine the general quality level of an article. The results of this assessment determine how and where your content will appear on HubPages.

Published articles are re-evaluated via QAP whenever they are updated by the author, but they may also be re-evaluated based on random sampling.

If you’re wondering where the heck your brand-new article is floating around, know that it can take up to 48 hours for an article to be reviewed. During that time, it will remain published, but not “Featured.” A published article is still live and viewable on the Internet, while a Featured article has been indexed by search engines, can be seen on our topic pages and may be selected for one of our Network Sites.
