Why my car steering & dashboard vibrates when idling and vibrations magnify when cooling fan starts?
My general observations are as followed.
1) Vibrations are felt only when car is stopped and idling. It is irrespective of whether the car is in neutral or in gear with clutch pressed.
2) Vibrations become amplified when the engine cooling fan switches on.
3) Vibrations are less perceivable when the car is rolling.
4) On careful observation under the hood at different times, I have noticed that the vibrations persist from the starting of the engine. I could feel engine vibrating at several locations and visibly felt through shaking MPFI (multi point fuel injection) attachment.
Hello Seshu, I don't know what year or model your car is, but sometimes it's just a matter of tweaking your idle, it may be too low, causing the vibration. If tweaking the idle doesn't work, you may have a motor mount that is worn or broken. I would try an idle adjustment first, if possible then go form there. Let me know what happens, take care.

Considering the problems Toyota has ran into.If you were in a car that was accelerating on its own would you know what to do to stop it.1. Turn off the key.2. Shift the car into neutral.3. Apply the brake.Any of these steps should at least stop the acceleration of your car. This may seem...

How is it that a hub on the 'common mistakes new hubbers make' can suddenly become not featured, in spite of the fact it has had 9 views in a day, 24 views in 7 days and 35 views in the last 30 days? I only replied to comments on it both 42 hours ago and 22 hours ago (from two different hubbers)....
