Here's how the data entry online scam usually works:

1. You spot a listing on Google, in Craigslist or even in your local Thrifty newspaper's ad column. You get excited over the promise of making so much money for so little effort.
2. You follow the links or make the calls to secure your dream job doing data entry online.
3. You find out that there's an administrative fee that will, in return, promise you thousands of job opportunities making money typing for cash.
4. You pay the fee, only to find that either the listings are outdated or don't exist, or you must hunt down these opportunities yourself. Even worse, you're simply scammed out of your money with no additional contact from the company.

It's not easy to find a full-time data entry job in your local area, let alone online. It's not very likely that you'll find a 40-hour per week data entry job online, but it is possible.
