My Hub is Now on Google's First Page!
It Only Took A Few Hours
Today I decided to publish a hub about a turtle's ability to live forever (http://hubpages.com/hub/Turtles-Can-Live-Forever). After writing about this topic, I submitted my hub to Stumbleupon. A few hours later, my hub appeared on the first page of Google (provided that you search "Turtles Can Live Forever" or "Turtles Live Forever"). This was very exciting as it was my first hub that made it to Google's first page. How, you ask? Well, I think my hub made it mostly because when you look us "Turtles Live Forever," there are only 465,000 results. Still, to be 6th out of 465,000 is pretty awesome in my opinion. I am already starting to get traffic from Google and hopefully this will continue. Furthermore, I hope to get some of my other hubs on the first page of Google as well. This makes me think that if you write about a unique, less searched for topic, you can draw in more traffic initially. Anyways, I hope this serves as either an inspiration or just some good advice to you hubbers.
