How to remove my unfeatured hubs to another website?
I was thinking of what Lady Guinevere had mentioned; removing hubs to another website. Since there are so many unfeatured hubs for me to update, I might as well move them to another website to see the traffic changes. Please advise how do I do that. Thanks very much.
You don't have master copies on your computer?
I would go to the Hub you want to move, use the copy and paste feature. Copy it and then paste it into Word or your word processing program.
not all the hubs. I can do that now right? Afterall, i have 21 unfeatured hubs...
I have written my hubs/articles in word first then copied and pasted it to a writing site of my choice. That that I didn't do it this way-many years ago before I thought of it, I open word and do as Duffsmom is doing. I have over 300 hubs to do similar to this as only the last year I have them in my word documents. It is a pain but then as you copy and past to your word document it will pick up errors and you can correct them right then before you save it. I am starting to put all my hubs on blogspot. I have lots of upgrading to do on that so it will take me a while to get them all up and published. OH BTW be sure that your hubs that have been unfeatured are unpublished for at least a month before you put them back up on any writing site. That does not count Face Book though. Tried that with one just to see if it would be duplicate content and it wasn't flagged anywhere. Not sure why.
thanks for your help. I will wait 1 month b4 publish at expertscolumn and my own blogger.com
UR welcome. I am in the process of copy and pasting all mine to docs. I am even getting all the comments with them. If U do Cntrl P on your word doc it will be just like what you selected to copy.
To safely republish your article on another site, save your content and delete the Hub from HubPages. When it has been deleted (click on the URL to make sure it is gone), go to Google and to Bing and have the cache removed:

https://ssl.bing.com/webmaster/tools/co … al?rflid=1
It should be removed within 48 hours and then you can republish it safely on another site.

I found an exact replica of one of my "how-to" hubs on another website. What do I do?It wasn't just similar, it was verbatim. Is there anything that can be done about this?

One of my popular how titled 'How to tell if your boyfriend is a Zombie' has been published on various other sites without my permission. What no credit given to me??? In fact it has another writer's name on it. Is there anything I can do about it? Why is this happening?

A couple days ago one of my lenses/hubs went unfeatured. Okay, no biggie. An article with the title of My 70s Bookshelf is probably not much in demand. I planned to move it to my personal website in progress. Then in the last hour it's suddenly showing as featured again. What? Is it even possible?
