Please excuse sunforged, who completely misunderstood what you were asking about.

What you see on the profile pages is something that the HubPages system does automatically once you have made a significant number of hubs (I think it's 15).

    This is discussed here: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/8575

    What it says:

    "Profile Page

We made the first significant update to the profile page in quite some time.   The big change is that instead of the latest, best, and hot listing we created a list of author's important hubs organized by topic.  You can see for yourself on Maddie's Profile Page.  We are rolling this out gradually, so you may not see it on your profile page right away (and you must have at least 15 hubs).

Other new features include the ability to search the text of author's hubs and to view a list of all an author's hubs that are tagged with a particular tag.

Because of the layout change, some of you with fairly long profile page bios may want to shorten them up a bit, in order to pull the hubs up a little closer to the top of the page.

You can thank Fawntia for most of these changes."

LAME!  there organized into general hub categories like business/ebay food etc...

not my self created topics "poetry and prose" "ecommerce" internet marketing" etc.

BOOOOOOOOOOO! so lame, what the hell is a Penis categorie, i know i didnt set that!

Hib pages change it to our self designated orgainaztional system and grouping please!!

      the category link is

      my account---> right sidebar (categories)

      http://hubpages.com/my/categories

i have been using the drop down menus in my account (the big box that says filters) to create an organze my own article groups - i dont even understand what these topics are that my hubs are organized in, and how to modify - why is my prose fiction listed as food? I may have picked food as a tag (its set in a restaurant) but thats certainly not the best descriptive term

yes please let me know too how this is done

The real question is how the system  creates the topics, I already had my hubs in unique groups which i had hoped would be the organizers....

Then i went through and categorized every hub

Then i realized that it seems as if the system had used my first tag as the header-

ex) a creative writing piece which is categorized as - writing-->creative writing
article grouped as  " "poetry and prose"

is now organized as "food" ...why? it seems because this is the first tag for the hub, which is set in a restaurant

so boo! to hubpages topic organization..im going to delete all my tags now...let see what the stupid system does with that! (except for the penis tag...thats gonna stay, having an article that should be within a science and nature tag, be organized as penis works for me)

    boo

and i dont believe you read the thread, relache...so boo! again
