      I am excited, nervous and can't sleep...I have been drinking just a bit also!! The reason??
      
      I am considering taking a promotion at work. My supervisor has recomended me for this postion and if I take it my pay will go from $86,000 a year to $92,000 but I would have to move to Frankfurt, Germany!!

      I have a friend living with me now but she works from midnight to 8:00 am...It's like 3:04 am now...So I'm alone...I don't have to work tomorrow!! YaY!!!

       Night Jman. Kirstenblog, I hope you feel better! Try some apple cider vinegar and honey in hot water, like tea. It's supposed to ward off the flu, kill infections.

          Fay, I use cider vinegar for so many things, would not be surprised if it helped beat a cold too! I think I will add a dash to my next cuppa tea, just now got a fresh cuppa coffee with hot chocolate and a splash of vodka
          
          Darned bath, I turned the heating on to heat up the water for a bath but it was not actually on! grrrrrr!
          
          We use a timer in the socket for the winter months to turn the heating on and off before we wake up in the morning and before bed, it was on the 'no power' mode so just plugging in didn't work! I am so annoyed now, have to wait for the water to heat up before I can go lay in a hot bath

    ughh... thats sucks kirstenblog! i know the feeling, you just wana get into the bath and soak away the sick feeling and then... guess what.. you can't becasue of some random reason! Its like watching paint dry waiting for the water to warm up
    
    You know what I find is legendary is lemon and ginger tea, wow that stuff knocks out the cold!

       I tried putting gin in my tea, both with and without lemsip (medicated lemon flavored powder stuff). I find it really soothes the chesty cough stuff. You can only have like 4 lemsips in a day so when I cannot have one just adding the splash of gin makes it as good as the medicated stuff.....
       
       Gonna have to lay off the booze when I am all better, drinking my fair share for a week or two in two days!

    Sounds like fun Justin! I did a night out saturday and drank too much and danced my ass off...Had much fun! Hit an antique shop today and spent about $1000.00....Two weeks ago I spent $3200.00 at the same shop...I can't stop myself!

       Think so do you?? I have a very high energy level...I only sleep about 3-4 hours a night and get up and run 5-6 miles everyday...then do some yoga...then go to work...after I shower of course!

       I have done some checking and research and have gotten mixed results so far?? I tried to talk with some people on a ex-patriot website and they also gave mixed reveiws of life there. Some say it's expensive some say if you live outside of the city it's not so bad??
