What is an affiliate link and can you give an example of it? Or an example of a hub with affiliate links?

Here's one of my hubs that uses affiliate links: http://hubpages.com/hub/create-make-bui … ilder-best

The affiliate company is linkshare and through them I signed up to sell homestead sitebuilder, but they have tonnes of other programs and products to sell on behalf of other companies.

Affiliate link is a unique link that a company gives you to help them sell their stuff.  For example, a company selling TV's will give you a link to place on your website or hub.  If someone clicks on that link and then buys the TV, you get a commission on that sale.

Good places to get these affiliate links is commission junction and click bank.

Selling Amazon on hubs is an example of affiliate marketing but they've streamlined it more than the typical program here on hubpages.
