Publishing Hubs is the point of this site, so if you don't want to do so, you might consider that some other web site might be more of what you are looking for.
I recommend you read the FAQ, http://hubpages.com/faq/
and the Learning Center, http://learningcenter.hubpages.com/
Both of those sections offer up great info about what HubPages does as a site and community. After you read those, you'll either decide you might be better off leaving, or you'll know what you need to know to start making Hubs.

If you need to figure out how to make a hub, when you're signed in look to the top, in between the sign out and my account buttons is "start a new hub"
