I recieved a comment 6 hours ago and I nearly approved it but I notice a lot recently that people will include links within their guest name? I don't want people to click on their link!
MyMoneyTalks, there's nothing unusual about that. Go to any blog, and you'll probably find it asks for your website address so your name can become a link.
It's one of the best ways for you to promote your Hubs (by going to blogs and leaving meaningful comments).
So long as the site isn't pornographic or spammy, and it's a meaningful comment, I always accept links in names - because I'd like other bloggers to accept my links on their blogs.
it's not always spam to link back to a site. it's the internet. many people search for backlinks or find articles of interest and leave comments. I always leave them if it links to a decent site or article. why not? I leave my link at sites if it relates to the site/article. if it's spam, no, I don't approve it.
I delete these comments because they are put there to do exactly what you are fearful of. One this morning was from a new HP member who probably only joined to do just this.

Someone left a bunch of wikipedia links in a comment on one of my hubs. They were relevant to what we were talking about. I would rather not delete the comment unless I have to. However, I'm also aware that...
