I posted a comment on another Hubber's hub 2 days ago, and just now, when I checked my Hubtivity, right at the top was the notification I had posted a comment on that hub 71 minutes ago. I knew I hadn't, so went back to the person's hub, and saw my original comment showing as 2 days ago, but the hub author had only just got round to responding to me, and his response had been posted about 71 minutes previously. I think there must be a glitch somewhere that needs looking into.

Thank you for reporting this bug.  It looks like this is related to some changes in the site update yesterday.  I will report back to this thread when we have a fix.

This bug might result in your feed and hubtivity saying that your comment is published twice: both when you make the comment and when the comment gets approved.  However, it will not result in you actually making the same comment twice.

Thanks for this Ari, will let you know if it happens again.

Still loving your blue background on posts. I wish all the Hubpages staff posts came up with a coloured background. Perhaps you could suggest it.

Yeah, I noticed a weird thing with my comments earlier too. I wrote one comment yesterday, but hubtivity says I wrote two comments, one 28 hours ago and one 17 hours ago. At first I was like.."oh no, I wrote a comment and don't remember it, I hope its not anything stupid." So I checked and there is just the one comment sitting there. Odd, I guess, but I didn't think it was a huge deal.

I thought someone might have hacked into my account or something, which is why I checked. It isn't a big deal of course, but I am sure Hubpages want the site to be a 'glitch free' and as  professional as possible. I suppose it is really just 'tweaking' the finer points in order avoid confusion.

Edit. It just happened again, I am listed as having posted a comment a couple of minutes ago, only this time no additional comment has been made by anyone since the last one I made over 117 minutes ago.

Hey mistyhorizon, the comment you made most likely just got approved by the author, which triggered the bug, and confused the site into thinking that you posted again. We'll have Ari get back to everyone when this bug is fixed.

The same thing's happening with my comments - my account says I'm writing two comments on a hub a few hours apart when I'm actually writing only one comment on the hub. This has happened several times. I guess this is a glitch!

WHOA talk about glitches. I am right now using firefox, on my home computer, and the whole site is all smooshed like Im on a cell phone. also, when I clicked reply, for this, it said "warning, the post you are about to reply to is over two months old. do not reply unless you have something meaningful to add to the conversation."

Ditto Ditto, makes them so much easier to pick out from the general posts. I wonder if this is now going to apply to all Hub Staff's posts, or if it is just Ari's personal thing!!
