Be Aware - Disasters Are Destroying Our Globe

Updated on June 25, 2015

Poverty stinks, hard work does not alleviate, love does. Resource grabbers are the cause.

What A Disaster!

The years of two thousand and five (2005) to present (2015) have been terrible for our environment, and the quality of life on planet Earth.

No Fun At Parties - Disastrous Talk

Invited to parties much? No, and I don't care if I am or not, because when the topic of the environment, gas prices, fracking, climate change pop up, I cannot help but to speak the truth. There are many truths that only a few care to hear.

What is startling is that I will attempt to circumvent these types of conversations, and it isn't until I am forced by dripping ignorance that I must speak.

Although I do love to help people in my job, and on a daily basis, I refuse to be silent when it comes to what is killing my planet.

When I used to attend a fundamental christian church, I wondered what the scripture meant where in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 followers are warned that if they choose to believe in living a life of lies, they will be sent strong delusion, and they will believe it.

Now it is sorely obvious. Those who align themselves on the side of "Patriotic Christianity," show an ignorance for the facts that is deadly.

Could it be that to keep from personal responsibility these believers will take whatever they can that stops them for being held accountable for action, or lack of action on the part of our Environment?

Our demand for fossil fuels will be our demise if we do not adhere to green energy and get back on our feet.

Mr. Ford & The Automobile

For many years I followed Napoleon Hill's "Think And Grow Rich."

I was impressed by the way that the industrial founders like Armour and Ford focused on providing a service for mankind, while gaining wealth and notoriety. The philosophy behind these power brokers of the early 20th century was to work hard, using every resource at hand to claim success and wealth. It sounds so good...too good to be true.

The problem with the early industrial giants is that they planned and manipulated based on what they knew at the time, and that they would not be stopped, nor discouraged on their journey to being a ruling class on Earth.

From what I have studied, Mr. Ford was not an engineer, and had no formal education, but he was smart enough to surround himself with those who were. He had ingenious ideas, and he had to have help to implement those ideas.

The big problem is "The Long Run."

In those early days was anyone aware of how high speed vehicles, and pollution would affect wildlife, winged things and the environment?

It is difficult to place blame solely on the Industrialists, because the idea of being able to travel from one place to another was an idea which caught fire.

How Many Disasters Will It Take?

From April 20, 2010, on through today 2015 our world has witnessed one major environmental disaster after the other.

The saddest thing is that these disasters are not due to the operations of companies like Exxon or BP (British Petroleum), it is because of the demand from consumers.

We did not have human propelled combustion until the 1900s, we did survive, and in some cases thrived because our waters, skies and soils weren't being deluged with constant disaster. Owls, bats, butterflies and bees thrived and had the right-of-way.

Americans are so defined by their automobiles that even the staunchest environmentalist will scream bloody murder if the suggestion for stopping combustion is made. It isn't even up for debate.

In the late 1800's we did a lot of new things with technology, but unfortunately it was without the wisdom we now have regarding environmental degradation.

We are still here, we can hit the re-set button.

It is time for us to rethink the way communities and businesses are laid out, and return human beings to their feet and legs.

This would be an exciting and healthy way of doing business, providing many new jobs, returning the Monarchs, Bees and Bats. Communities re-laid would actually give us more time and rest.

We would not have to buy automobile insurance, make car payments, nor have loved ones perish at such incredible speeds.

It is time to hit the reset button.

A Few Short Years - Geologic Disaster

There are many environmentalists who have been sounding warnings for decades.

In the 1960s we became more aware of the pollution from lead based fuel. Advertising power, and the lack of understanding of the cause and effect of polluting our air, land and waters, found us at a crossroads.

The decade before the start of the Environmental Protection Agency found Americans with black skies, flammable waters and the need to make changes.

Just like today, in the 1970s when environmental activists demanded a change from lead-based gasoline. Protesters were beaten, run out of town, or killed, Waves of threats and propaganda filled the slots in radio and television advertising.

"If lead were removed from fuel, it would drive the fuel and automobile industries out of business."
