2012 End Of World Predictions

Updated on June 20, 2012

The Mayans of Central America in the past have astounded modern day astronomers with the accuracy of their cosmic calculations. The Mayans invented a calendar based on the mathematical calculations of the stars. The Mayan calendars have, so far proved accurate, but the biggest question is why did they stop on such a specific date in the calendar? Why does December 21, 2012 hold such significance for them?

The Mayans are astronomical engineers that had great insight into the cycles of the universe. Out of this cycle the Mayans made world changing predictions that the earth would turn away from its evil nature. They prophesied that the world cycle of evil would be turned on December 12, 2012. On this particular day in December, it is said that the sun or known to the Mayans as Kinich-Ahau will line up with the center of the Milky Way galaxy. The sun will be hit with a “massive spark” according the Mayans and shine more brightly. This is the result of an upcoming massive solar flare.

This world changing solar flare occurs every 5000 years in the cycle of the earth. The Mayans predicted that the next one will be on that date in 2012. Solar flares in the past have been linked to many natural events that have occurred in the past. Mayans have a story of a “great flood” that covered the earth when the last major solar flare happened 5000 years ago. A number of tribe’s men happened to be out fishing in some of the highest parts of the mountains when it came. These people survived on top of these mountains until the flood waters receded. With these, approaching changes that are predicated to come also will be the way human civilizations contempt on life. There will be a new respect at how truly precious life can be.

It is not only the Mayans that have predicted world changing things to occur on this famous date of December 21, 2012. Some say that the famous prophesier of Nostradamus predicted similar event will happen in and round that date on the calendar. His predications are related to a “great body in the sky” a comet with a long tail that will pass close to earth. This comet will cause the waters to raise out o the sea and bring devastation on the land. Many religions focus on the end time’s theme from the bible to the Koran where there will be a just cleansing of the earth.

As the world braces for the upcoming changes, it lies in wait to see what will happen. Many say nothing will happen, and the world will go on, as it was. Many predict it is the end of the world as we know it. While, others state it will be an era of new human awaking. No matter what your thoughts on the end time’s prophecy are it is good to remind us that we need to enjoy every moment in life to the fullest. With our families, friends, and our neighbors besides us, we take a new step every day. Do your best to bring a little extra joy to this earth and not worry about what may or may not happen but focus on the here and now.
