   I do not believe that Global Warming is something we as humans can do anything about. The "science" that claims that humans are the cause for Global Warming cannot be backed up with facts and is simply propaganda. Were humans emitting CO2 gases when the Ice Age came to an end? There have been hundreds of cycles between warm and cold weather throughout earth's history. It is just nature and the shifting of the poles. Therefore, I do not think technology can slow down Global Warming as it is nature, not humans, which cause it.

   Hi bmgollhofer, my partner says exactly the same thing as you :-)
   I think that even if we're not causing it we may be able to slow it down a bit.. but that could be wishful thinking...

   I agree with bmgollhofer, but for a different reason. There's been NO measurable Global Warming since 1998, when it peaked and died. This is according to data from the AQUA satellite, made publicly available by the good folks at the University of Alabama, Huntsville. Since then, we've had some warmer-than-average years and some cooler-than-average years, but no real TREND.
   
   The Warmist pseudoscientists who control the info from surface temperature stations and from some of the tree ring sets are extremely reluctant to disgorge their raw data. Instead, we get 'adjusted' numbers; this fact is not in dispute.
   
   When Global Warming skeptics are successful in getting their hands on REAL data, they usually uncover cherry-picking (as in Keith Briffa's 'study' of larch tree rings in Nth Russia), transparent oopsies (like the claim that October 2008 was the warmest October on record), or outright fraud (like Michael Mann's infamous hockey stick graph).
   
   As a nonspecialist (my academic background is in analytical chemistry), I've done an informal investigation in California's Nth Sierras on the claim of 'unprecedented' Global Warming. Constance Millar has done a much better study in the Southern Sierras. If anyone is interested, I'll post links to both investigations.
   
   Taken as a whole, Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming is the biggest scientific fraud since Lysenkoism in the old Soviet Union. And climate fraud is a multi-billion-dollar, taxpayer-funded industry.
   
   Global warming? What bloody Global Warming? The legitimate concern is the next major advance of continental glaciers. On a geological time scale, we're nearly due for another one. And that's going to be extremely unfun.

   Global warming is only a concept, just like global cooling. For a while people were frightened that the world would enter another ice age. It is just a concept that frightens people.
   Living in Houston, TX we have had snow for the past few years which equal some of the coldest winters here. Yet we are also hitting record high summer numbers. Everything is to the max, not just heat.
