New DISH Channel Current TV Allows DISH to Cover All Political Angles

Recently, DISH began offering Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze, a political network enjoyed, in large part, by a conservative audience. The show features news, commentary, and other political entertainment by many on-air talents and is expected to be a success.

In response, DISH also announced that it will be carrying the channel Current TV, the progressive answer to TheBlaze. It’s also an award-winning network and enjoys a large audience of viewers who enjoy political issues and current events.

What is Current TV?

Current TV, a Peabody and Emmy award-winning network, was founded in 2005 by Al Gore and Joel Hyatt. It features news, political commentary, and informational programming such as election coverage and documentaries about current issues affecting Americans today.
