Good heavens, no. If an individual wants to censor their results (like if they have children or something) then they should have at it, but governments should never censor the Internet.
I agree with I agree with imichelle. If you want to censor your search engine then you can always put the safe search option on but the government should never censor search engines.
If you want censorship, move to China. They've got loads of it for you.
Go listen to The Dead Kennedy's "Holiday in Cambodia" and think about what you've got.
Why does everyone want to screw it up for the rest of us? If you can't handle what you find, go read a book. With big pictures and few words.

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.

First reason:Any article is handicapped by moderators if it doesn't please them. Your article won't appear in search engines purely because it is not featured.Second reason:You cannot publish your articles elsewhere! Your articles are not even visible in search engines and yet HubPages use...

I hope somebody can help. I now have 49 hubs, and yet not one of them are seen by the search engines.
