    I would definitely say "Gangnam Style" by the Korean pop singer PSY. That song blew up in popularity overnight, and I believe it recently passed over one billion views on the official video on YouTube.
    The song is played almost everywhere, and the 'horse dance' is done by everyone of all ages. I recently went to a local nightclub and they played the song and everyone on the dancefloor joined in the dance. It was insane.

    I think it's just the energy and 'randomness' of the song, and the music video is amazing too. I personally love this song.

      Yes Cardia, that was probably the biggest song of the year.  I really like it.  It's a lot of fun and I hope that America can get more music that is taken from other parts of the world.  We can always use more culture and something a little different
