If you could choose the music at your own funeral, what would it be and who would play it?

Oh, so many possibilities come to mind...
Rock Around the Clock ~ Bill Hailey and the Comets
Turn out the Lights ~ Willie Nelson
Thank God and Greyhound (s)He's Gone! ~ Roy Clark
City of New Orleans ~ Arlo Guthrie
So Long (It's Been Good To Know Ya) ~ Woody Guthrie
Yes, I know most of those guys have gone on ahead of me, so just break out the YouTube links and a big screen!

I'd like some Hank SR and Jr. I'd have to have a lot of Stevie Ray Vaughan. The music would last way too long to list all of the bands...

I will be cremated, and my ashes scattered to the four winds on a nearby river to these two songs:

    Scottish bagpipes playing "Amazing Grace"

A solo violin playing "The Ashoken Farewell"

Ashoken is a great piece with a beautiful back story.

"A Mighty Fortress is our God," and "Awake, Awake," and "Thy Strong Word."  Our organist at church would play any two of them and we have a young college-age woman with the most amazing voice - I would hope she would sing one of them for me.

I would like the entire San Francisco Symphony performing the final movement of "Beethoven's Ninth" with full Chorus.  Wow!  Yes, indeed.  That's what I would like.

Just imagine the power behind the Ninth... Good choice.

I actually have a playlist on my iPod, called Bucket List. All the songs will be played at my funeral and party afterwards (a celebration of my life). People must stay and listen them all. Trouble is, there is 90 songs! They are going to be cursing me up and down……..cool!!
