Anyone Here Ever Worked On A Screenplay?

    How does it work for you? And if you're gonna be part of the production, how do you ensure it fits the budget, without letting your mind run amok? In fact, just share your experience.

    I helped a friend out with one, but it was mostly dialogue based, so it would have been really cheap to produce, if it had gone anywhere.

      This horror screenplay I'm working on - I'm splitting it into dialogues and visuals. I think that way I can focus more on the characters, thereby minimizing costs. Its a theory though. Worked for Sam Raimi in Evil Dead. Its all camera and dialogue. Cos him 50grand. Worked for Robert Rodriguez, too - visuals and dialogue. Cos him 7grand.
