Free - Dry Rub Recipe for Dad

“Baby back, Beef or Pork Ribs, Dry Rub Recipe“

8 table spoons of Brown sugar, tightly packed
3 table spoons of Kosher salt
1 tablespoon of Ancho chili powder
½ teaspoon of Ground cumin
½ teaspoon of Dried oregano
½ teaspoon of Garlic powder
½ teaspoon of Ground black pepper
½ teaspoon of Cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon of jalapeno seasoning
½ teaspoon of Old Bay Seasoning
½ teaspoon of fresh thyme, rubbed between the fingers
½ teaspoon of onion powder

Combine, all the dry ingredients in your favorite mixing bowl, and mix well. Place each slab of ribs on a piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil large enough to wrap the ribs in, remember shiny side down, or plastic
wrap. Sprinkle each side generously with the dry rub. Pat the dry rub into the meat. Refrigerate the ribs for at least 1 hour, for the best results overnight. Before putting the ribs on the barbecue, set them out of the fridge to get to room temperature before smoking. Oh yeah, remember to remove the plastic wrap before putting your ribs on the grill.
