wow, that was easier to read than i thought. you should write a hub on this deborah. i bet it would get a lot of clicks if you promoted as a brain teaser game or something.

I agree I'm sure it would get a lot of hits. It's weird but I could read it just as fast as I normally read as well. Strange.

        Hi Steven, smile

how strange.. I did read it without a problem also. maybe those that can't try to decipher it rather than simply reading it.

    interesting.

I believe that the "55 out of 100 people can't read this" is probably made up. (Didn't you know that 62.5% of statistics are made up on the spot!)

The original brain teaser is based on a study at Cambridge university that reveals people can read any word that is mixed up as long as the first and last letter are in the correct location.

I know, that's what is stated in the scrambled paragraph!!!
      Couldn't you read ir?

I was referring to the fact that that version contradicts itself - the statement is that 55/100 people can read it, yet it also says that as long as the first and last letter is in the correct spot, it can be read.

Perhaps the other 45 are 'capable', but a bit slow or dim to perceive it as readily. smile
btw...I had no trouble with it.
