Beyond Pragatism:  : The Missing Unit to Transform Binary Metaphysics into Non Relata *

    a) is there such a unit of energy -a non event;
    b) can it be applied without mechanics
    c) how would you approach the probability

    * (causal relata: cause/effect; transcendent/immanence; a metaphysics of binary limits logical reasoning to choices. Either something is strong, or it is weak; either it is good or it is evil, etc. No in-between, no maybe, no paradox, no irony. )

    James.

answering according to the perspective of the questioner...

There is such a unit that is beyond mechanics and incorporates all probabilities.

        I think there is, also.

We have been conditioned by physic or metaphysic logic (binary thinking).
Humanism --the Pragmatic in question-- supplies only cause-effect; pro-con; good-evil; transcendent-immanent.

And although there is an accepted "three unit energy" that makes up the universe and a duality of Relata, it is my 'belief' that an additional unit of energy exists. One that is not conditional (non-casual/non-event); one that can be viewed without mechanics.

From a phiosophical perspective, relata is priori. And that has three parts: a priori, priori, posteriori. So relata, must have a third element as well. This energy cannot be called neutral, as it is not apart of the condition. Much like it would not be apart of an atomic unit...

Translating the latin geek speak to pure understanding....

There is one "unit of energy" which can be described as the cause...
There is another "unit of energy" which can also be described as the effect...

These two can be separated as two but in actuality they are one.

Even the cause may be divided into two, as you are always so keen to point on in these forums. but in actuality they are one.

Now the cause/effect combination can vary and also can be described as another "unit of energy"...

These concepts can be described in quite a few ways..and from either one of three perspectives, effect, cause or the combination.

Though eventually all three are actually one... and this is what is known as Father.

Nevertheless understanding the divisions is necessary so that each can establish himself on a sure foundation...just as the Father is.

          no dessert as punishment. lol
In the meanwhile, I've been reading your bio and I was impressed at the subjects you're interested in.
And it takes good culinary talents to make a salad from quantic physics and mataphysics.
And maybe it's good for one's health...

Someone else is also thinking about that.

    "relatum (relata)
A term in a proposition that is related to the referent of the proposition".
Sorry but what does that mean?

      knolyourself, may I suggest reading:

Harold Oliver's: Metaphysics, Theology & Self.
      Outstanding book.

a referring proposition is often defined as a polar equal (opposite), as in duality: cause v effect; god v the world; mind v brain, etc. which is actually relata (meaning the singular or plural relationship between them).

Thanks for the suggestion. I try to stay away from abstraction. One can think they understand something when in actuality they do not. Also try to be conversant with everyone, and not exclusive with specialist language.

So the trinity is a quantic matter...
That's what I understand after the translation from latin geek.
    I'd add :
When you're confused, just try to ondulate through time and space.
