There has been a lot of anger in recent days about North Korea's nuclear weapons because of THE POTENTIAL that the DPRK could use its enriched uranium for building bombs that could hit any Asian nation as well as Asia, BUT SO FAR IT HAS ONLY BEEN RHETORIC. The bottom line is: WE AS ADULTS CAN'T BE FORCED TO DO ANYTHING WE DON'T WANT TO DO
Uh yeah, great post.
They also said that the 50 year long cease-fire from the Korean War is null and void, activated over 125,000 peasant-militia guard and sent over 25,000 regular troops to the border.
I think it's pretty reasonable to believe that they have upped the ante, whatever their objectives (short or long) may be, it should be taken seriously.
I don't give a damn whether it's rhetoric or not, it's still something to consider and think about, since we are indeed thinking human beings.
I am happy to note that another Asian country has come up. Until 19th century, Asia was called the "colony continent" and that was removed by the Japanese victory over Russia in 1905. Since then, Asia began to develop in all fields and now, no one can take it for granted. Now the enemy is not outside.... it is within... A small country like North Korea requires such weapons is amusing. Who will attack north Korea when there are Russia and China around? It is a waste of resources.
Possessing N-weapons is no guarantee for its safety. The weapon will strike only when it is ignited. If it is destroyed on the ground, all our dreams will fail.
The only country surrounded fully by enemies without any reliable friend is India only. And its major enemy is China... and they have some traitors in India ready to help China in times of disaster, ie., the Communists. They are more dangerous than Chines atom bombs. In these circumstances, is it fair for anyone to expect India to sign NPT or CTBT?
China looks India as its future victim.. The Indian traitors, the CPM looks to China as their saviours.
Yeah, India is stuck over there, surrounded by enemies. No I wouldn't sign anything that tied my hands and did not allow me to protect my countrymen.
I can understand your concern about a communist threat from both inside and around India Venugopal. You are right, communists should be considered as traitors both there and in western countries as well. But both China and Russia have joined the world in condemning North Korea's nuclear test.
North Korean Nuclear Blast Draws Global Condemnation
Venugopal:
What did you mean by " If it is destroyed on the ground, all our dreams will fail ". I'm not getting your meaning here...Please explain...Thanks

What do you think will happen to North Korea's nuclear weapons? Are you afraid, now that Kim Jong Ill is dead, that North Korea's nuclear weapons might fall into terrorist hands? What supports your opinion?

What did America do to make North Korea hate us?

What did we actually do to piss off North Korea?I just recently saw a short clip on the news about threats being made on South Korea and the USA? Curious why? We(the Us) were just doing demonstrations not meant for harm....just doing testing.

Should the U.S. be worried that China is massively building up their military right now?China is building up their military at a greater rate than Hitler did prior to WW2. China's military is as technologically advanced as ours.

What should we should about North Korea? Invade?

I'm struggling to keep up with all this. Is Trump really planning to attack North Korea if they do another nuclear test? Is it seriously being considered as a possibility? Or is it just sabre rattling? And is this type of brinksmanship the best approach to foreign policy?
