How much content/ many hubs needed to be accepted by Google Adsense?

   1 week on Hub pages
   
   wrote 2 solid hubs and submitted for Adsense program. Was turned down with the cryptic note that "my site was not totally set up/ need more content"
   
   I'm writing more hubs, but I can't find any info on how many hubs/ how much content they're looking for before I'm acceptable. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place.
   
   Any suggestions, folks/

      Hi Catherine, Welcome to Hub Pages! :-)
      I was approved after writing 8 Hubs. There are a couple of things that I've seen other Hubbers do to quickly get approved:
      1. Start a blog on Google's Blogger (free) and write a few good articles
      2. Go directly to Google forums and request for your account to be re-reviewed.
      3. Go to the 'Webanswers' website and quickly answer 50 questions, and then re-apply.
      
      I see that you've already written 10 Hubs since....just re-apply and you should be able to get approved soon. :-) Good luck!

         Buckled down and wrote more hubs, and then resubmitted tonight. Hope that will be happy for Google, or else I'll be looking at your suggestions 2 +3 (already have two established blogs on Wordpress and hesitate to start a third...)

            Try 10 hubs and resubmit. Make sure you submit via hubpages or else you will see yourself in a whole lot of mess like I did as I applied via google direct. Anyway I'm all up and running so 10 should do it. Good luck

   Last consensus I heard was 10 hubs.
   
   Also, the rumor is that if you sign-up with google blogger, they will sign you up immediately for adsense through that. Then you can post the adsense code into your account here.
   
   This is old information and could very well be obsolete by now. It's worth a shot until someone comes along with something newer.

   So far as I am aware, Catherine, there is no hard and fast rule in this respect. I know that Google have become a lot stricter since I got my account five or six years ago but the way to think of it is that Google want to know they are likely to get a return from your account. Basically, they want to see that you are serious about creating online content that both they and you will earn from before accepting your application.
   
   With regard to Blogger (Google's online blogging platform) I honestly can't remember whether I got my account through Blogger or elsewhere but I would seriously doubt that in this day and age simply signing up for Blogger would automatically grant you an Adsense account. After all, you could simply sign up and never go any further, couldn't you?
   
   It's maybe a cliche in modern times but it's true nevertheless: focus on your content, get it built up as and when you can and make sure it's original and of quality and your Google and Amazon apps will be accepted in due course.
   
   Sorry this post isn't more specific or definitive but it's based on experience and I hope it contains something you were hoping to hear or that will at least be useful for you.

      Thank you for your input. I realize that there may not be a specific number, but I'd like to neither reapply too soon nor miss possible advertising participation ( which would be welcome) by waiting longer than need be.
      
      Hope the 10 hubs i've currently got up makes Adsense happy

   I had 2 or 3 hubs published, my profile was written out, and I had a profile image up. My account was incredibly young. This was just last fall.
   
   I guess I was just lucky, it baffles me how people get rejected. >.>

   I got accepted after publishing 5 hubs but it was a year before ,I was not focused much on Adsense but now Adsense has very strict approval process ,try to get 10 quality hubs and than Apply.Best of luck!!

   Not to burst any bubbles here but it took over 5 months for my Adsense account to be approved. This was through Google and I had to wait that long before joining Hubpages etc. The signing up for the blog did not improve the speed at which they are moving right now. Whatever you do, do not cancel your request. It may cause you to be unable to reapply. I got all this information from googling Google. Stick with it it will come!!!
