Sharm Al Sheikh is desert-sea-loving-hot resort that is visited by many especially Russians that lie at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. Have you visited Sharm Al Sheikh and would you consider visiting the place
I have a brilliant experience of Cairo and my wonderful camel and I trekked to the pyramids in heightened fantasy recalling the ancient ways of civilizations past. I would not mind an excursion to Sharm Al Sheikh but now in my "mature" part of life, the repetition of partying and tourist beaches has been a past to enjoy intermittently at times.
I've been there and loved it! The best coral snorkeling I've ever done.
I would never consider visiting Sharm Al Sheikh. If I am going to spend time and money getting all the way to Egypt, I want to enjoy the unique and interesting parts of the country rather than waste time doing nothing at a seaside resort.
I have been in Cairo and Luxor several times, and done the standard Nile cruise down to Aswan. I have also been on a specialist tour looking at animal motifs in tombs in Middle Egypt, which also visited Abydos and Dendera, and on another specialist tour which covered Alexandria and the Delta.
When I am next able to visit Egypt, I would like to go on a Lake Nasser cruise with the opportunity to get plenty of time to myself at Abu Simbel.

What made the most exotic place you visited (or live) exotic?I notice that many hubbers live in places I would consider exotic. Maybe someone considers where I live exotic. Each of us would have a different view, I'm sure. What makes the place you visited (or live) exotic?

I just wondered whether you can get consistent traffic to a blog that isn't about a particular topic (without having coerce friends and family!).
