I haven't been able to get approved by Adsense, but I just made $1.60 from Amazon. I know it's not much, but it's the first money I've made since starting on Hubpages. I just had to share! Is anyone else having luck with Amazon?
Congrats - it could be the start of something great.
I don't do a whole lot with Amazon, but this is definitely the time of year for it. My Amazon sales should double this month and hopefully for next month as well.
but I hardly got any earnings from Amazon even though there are clicks. Any good tips for getting successful Amazon sales
What I have found is to browse Amazon.com for specific items that are related to your hub. Using keywords will display things that are not truly related to your hubs at times. One of my most successful such hubs is one on cat condos. The only links off that page on Amazon and eBay are to cat condos that are for sale. I have actually had some of my hubs become unpublished because of unrelated links using just keywords on Amazon as well as eBay...so it is best to search the sites and put in specific URLs for the items you want to have displayed.
I think you've hit the essence of Amazon sales with your cat condo hub. Write on cat condos - sell cat condos. Not cat food, cat collars, or cat leashes - cat condos.
If you don't put up an ad for the specific product you are writing about you won't make many sales.
thanks, I will try getting links from keywords and hope it will work for me too!

Hi,I'm new to hubpages and I haven't created a hub yet. My question is: Should I create a hub and then apply for Adsense, Ebay and Amazon or can I apply without creating a hub?. Thanks

I decided to check my adsense and amazon first thing this morning and I was completely shocked when I saw that someone had ordered 2 items from Amazon through my affiliate link. I'm so excited cause I didn't think anyone was going to actually buy anything. Oh and it wasn't from a product review...

I was just now approved for my Google AdSense account after my 10th featured hub but I'm very confused about payment. Until now they would not approve me because of insufficient content, however, the hubs I have written have already garnered over 1600 views. Does anyone know if I am going to...

I seem to have come to HP just before all the changes. I have put in almost F/T hours on the days I write my hubs. I've read whole books, not only the ones I review, but for material for my hubs. I think what I write is well written and informative. I kept hoping as I got more readers, the money...

I often see barely related Amazon ads on pages here. Sometimes, I see ads that seem plain perverse -- ads for Apple TV on an apple pie recipe page, for example.I'm sure a lot of the most unrelated (and harmful) Amazon ads come from the 'choose keywords' feature in Amazon capsules.Might be helpful...

In Amazon capsule, after placing ads using keywords, it is showing the list of relevant products (ads). If I want to remove some of those ads or products (because they are irrelevant), how do I remove them?I don't see any option to select which ads I want to display.(after it is displaying the...
