Which sounds better?

   I am wanting to start a new blog and I have come up with a few ideas of what I could blog about. I want to blog at least once a day so I need a good topic. I want it to be a topic that people can find helpful and will keep them coming back. I hope you more experienced bloggers can give me some tips. Here's a few ideas I had:
   1. A blog about social media: I use social media quite a bit and almost everyone I know uses at least one type of social media (mostly Facebook). Here I might talk about better ways to use social media or interesting things I have found on social media such as Twitter.
   2. Life Lessons: This is where I would write about something that happened me today and the lesson I have learned from it. Kind of a way for people to learn from my mistakes/successes.
   3. Business blog: I am a business major in college so I thought I could write about what I have learned, to pass on my knowledge. With this blog I could write about how to make money or anything related to business.
   4. Lastly, a gamer's blog: With this blog, I would blog about video games I play such as Minecraft.
   
   Anyways, these are a few ideas I had. I want to write something that has not been done to death and something that people would find interesting. Which makes you feel more inclined to read? Please tell me what you think about these ideas and if you have any corrections or better ideas, please share them. Thank you.

   Hey Raptor: Social media has definately been blogged to death.  I would do Life's Lessons.  My hubs on such a topic seem to be more popular than other topics.  Besides, people are starting to want to find ideas on how to smile again.

         I would because it just might be something I did too, or need to learn from others.  We can all take advice from others about their life experiences good, bad or ugly.

   Do all four and see what works for you.  You don't have to write a page every day.  The most important thing I think, ALTHOUGH I DON'T HAVE A CLUE, is that you believe in, care about what you are writing.  It is very hard to try to fake a living.

   I do not read any blogs on a regular basis, although I read random blog posts that come up in the search results and promise some interesting information.
   
   I'm not interested in social media (yawn! most boring topic in the universe as far as I am concerned), in "life lessons" (I have lived long enough to have learned my own lessons in my own way), or in games I do not play (however I advise you to see what competition exists for the game you mention; if there is little, you might find it a useful topic). As for business, if I understand you correctly, you are currently studying this at sub-degree level. I'm afraid that does not give you any credibility whatsoever on that topic in my eyes. I would perhaps be interested to read a business blog by someone who has made a living running a one-man business on the Net for the last 10+ years, but reading rewrites of homework essays really does not draw me.
   
   If I were to start to follow a blog it would be either because
   (a) it contains some amazingly insightful posts on a topic that really interests me. As far as I am concerned that would have to be something like Jungian psychology, mythology, certain aspects of Ancient Egypt, a very deep insight into musical theory, and other fairly esoteric topics, or
   (b) the author writes pieces that totally match my sense of humour so I am left with post-laughter tears and a stitch and longing for more.
   
   If you find this overly harsh, please do not be upset. You asked for opinions and I have given you my honest one. Of course, other people may have totally different and more encouraging views.

      What a stroke of luck.  I have been writing a blog about my Net experience of running a Jungian therapist business near the Pyramids of King Tut for the last ten years.  Not only is it hilarious, pant-shittingly good in fact - but also deeply clever and useful for people who know stuff like those programs on the History Channel.

   yeah, you could write all the topics at different days. However, I would love to read Life Lessons because this topic is basically about the true life happenings that you share with others. Most people are interested in knowing other people's affair. That's the natural instinct. Best of luck!
