There is a fear that Japan's Tepco handling of nuclear plant disaster could result in radiation affecting other countries. A company representative expresses that should radioactive water escape into the ocean it will be to diluted by the ocean to present any harm.

Or, alternatively, one could calculate the radiation concentration when the contents of radioactive water in a reactor is mixed with a cubic mile or two of ocean water. Compare the resulting figure to background radiation or to accepted permissible radiation rates.
Easier, though, to simply claim it's wrong because we fear nuclear power and insurance companies...
We already have been affected both because we are part of the world trade and aid community, and because measurable radiation has reached other countries in products and flotsom.
