What are the best ways of building attendance for a fitness class?

   Hi,
   
   I'm wondering what the best way of increasing attendance for a fitness class is.
   
   I already advertise in community magazines and have tried handing out leaflets.
   
   Not sure what else to do.

      1. Word of mouth is always the best way to increase fitness attendance.
      2. You must be very personable, charming, and full of authority. You must be able to convince others of your competence. You must have optimum self-confidence to the point of blatant arrogance. If you believe in yourself, so will they. They will flock to You, the Messiah of Fitness. 
      3. Put yourself on You Tube. Get your few participants to twitter and face book your praises.
      4. Give free or very discounted classes for the first month of enrollment.
      5. Invite friends and family, (for free,) if you have to.
      6. And make sure you know your stuff 100%. (This should be #1.)
      7. Don't give up.

   Hire some shills to attend those classes. Make sure said shills are really, really attractive women who wear only biker shorts and sports bras.
