      The honesty part is so refreshment, but Clinton is likely attacking the Obamacare issue to put distance between Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration, despite the fact Hillary pushed for a federal takeover of health insurance in the 1990's and shares many of the same views as President Obama.
      
      Recently, the Clinton's strategy is to sound more like Donald Trump, but I don't think it will work given that the public largely is awake to the Clinton’s consistent deceptions and smoke screens to hide their true intent.
      
      “Sixty-seven percent of voters now say Clinton is not honest and trustworthy, up from 62 percent last month and the highest percentage this election cycle,” a NYT/CBS poll admitted in July.
      
      28 percent of the public view Hillary as honest.
      Its probably less than that for Bill the RAPIST!

   Part of the reason I'm voting for Hillary is I think she might be the one person who has enough experience with this issue that she can right the ship, fix the flaws, and move this system towards what it originally promised to be.  Throwing it out and starting over is code for never doing a damned thing to provide healthcare for Americans who can't otherwise afford it.

      I disagree on your assessment. I don't know of you have heard of the Scrum methodology. You can search for books on Amazon that describe it in detail. One of the tenant of Scrum is to evaluate the situation on an incremental basis... If the system is flawed in conception, sometimes there is no fix except to start over with a fresh team. The ACA act falls into this category. We conservatives have been warning about this for 6 years and every year it gets worse. The final part will only kick in  in 2017, how convenient after Obama leaves office? 
      Conservatives have alternative solutions to the current healthcare problems. Unfortunately, they were never debated and taken seriously by our Congress as they were suppose to do. It was written by lobbyist and Insurance executives and college professors like Jonathan Grubber. It was intended to FAIL so that some years down the road, a single payer system will be adopted.
      After the Supreme court's bad decision, I do believe it is too late at this juncture to scrap it totally. It is too entrenched in our healthcare/insurance system. We can roll it back and keep the good portions and throw out the bad. In some respect, that is what's happening. The final implementation of ACA does not even match the original law as written - all 2000 plus pages that no one read.
      It should be a lesson for all of us. Laws should never be "comprehensive" because it will be "too big to fail"...

         You make a reasonable case, although I don't necessarily see this scenario as a bad thing.  Single payer is fine with me.  That it was set up this way to push it through an uncooperative congress is fine with me, though I would scream and holler if the Republicans did it concerning something I opposed.  In today's environment, this is how things are done - unfortunately.

            Single payer will mean longer wait time and less innovation. Are you sure you are ok with it? Just look at the current VA for our veterans. That is a single payer system. Look to the UK and to Canada. Where will people go to get their serious medical problems treated in a timely manner? Ask the previous prime minister of Canada where he went.

      If she could do that, that would be something to respect her for. But, she needs to stand up now and point out the flaws and how she envisions fixing them. Do like Bill. Just admit it's the craziest thing in the world as it is not working right now. Forcing us to pay, or be fined, into a worthless system set up to enrich the insurance companies at the expense of the health of the nation is a travesty.

         When Obama was running for office against Clinton, he said she would say anything to get elected and do nothing (to that effect).  I believe he saw right through her and was honest with that statement. I see right through her, and I believe you do. 
         
         I won't be surprised with what she will come up with next is all I'm saying.  She is a master of deception, but her rear is in the wringer by her own undoing, and Bill isn't being too helpful with her campaign by being honest about Obamacare.

         Bill Clinton spoke the truth.  There are aspects of ACA that need fixing.  Do you think this Congress will let the next president take steps to do that?  Keep that question in mind when you vote to reelect your senator and congressman or not.

      Health care insurance is supposed to be affordable. JOBS are the answer! A percolating economy is the answer. Individual states and competivie free market insurance is the answer.
      STOP government re-distribution of insurance payments.
      Clintons go home. You know it will be a co-presidency with those two, right?

         Kathryn:  I'm hoping she makes him ambassador to outter Mongolia or some distant, irrelevant place.  I don't think she's waiting this long, worked this hard, and shaped her career so intensely to share anything with anybody, which is what a president should do. I think she was as involved in his presidency as she was because he needed her.

      She is not going to point out flaws in the signature accomplishment of the sitting president she served under.  But she has been a student of healthcare reform all of her adult life.  Tried to take it on as First Lady, but in the 1990s powerful people mostly told smart women to sit down and shut up.  As president, nobody is going to say that to her and maybe she can make the strides she tried to make before.

   Currently my mom lives in USA, I do not.  But I do know that health care for her is unaffordable, though she pays for it by sacrificing on her food bill. Her co-payment on her last prescription was 300.00 because one medication she takes maxed her prescription allowance. She is 77 years old and still has to work.

      I am sorry to hear that your Mom is struggling so because of the costs of her healthcare.  There are too many real life stories like that.  Does your Mom have AARP to help with prescription costs?  Every little bit helps.

   Not many young voters obviously remember the seventies and eighties BEFORE BILL CLINTONS mass spending  spree of the Reagan surplus !   But Insurance  WAS AFFORDABLE  and I repeat for the sake of young voters inattention , ADHD and  illicit drug fogs  , health care was affordable !
   
   There is a reason the all of the De-Regulated  Insurance Underwriters who can charge anything they want to for insurance  premiums  ARE DROPPING OUT OF THE SYTEM LIKE FLIES ! 
   
   Healthy people are apparently not buying into the expense of insurance coverage  . Only the sick are applying  and using the Obama CARE system  it seems perhaps  Is it time for the young and healthy to step up to actually pay their way in life , You know, maybe  its time for the Clinton Voters to get out of that basement and actually get a job !
   
   It's almost "Deplorable ".........know what I mean?

      What Reagan surplus?  Clinton created the surplus and Bush II got rid of it in his first six months.  Remember the $600 checks?  Probably not because they were insignificant.

         We need more than one industry re-regulated ,   Government should be setting profit margins in health care ,  the setting of mandatory purchase of  Obama-care premiums  with a small tax fine if you don't DID NOT WORK !  Young and healthy are NOT buying in .  I have worked with insurance companies before and watched the over charging for services .
         enough with $30.00 dollar band aids and $ 55.00 aspirins
         enough with $5,000  MRI's
         enough with 1000% mark ups in pharmaceuticals
         enough with doctors bouncing patients  from room to room for more charges
         enough with $ 7000 per eye cataract insurance operations when for cash you get it for$ 3,000
         enough with doctors and hospitals over charging for everything !
         
         Care to defend ?
