Over the past year, I've lost count of the number of hubs I've posted in order to create better hubs. Some have gone on to garner traffic when they had none, while others have improved what traffic they had. I'm truly thankful to everybody (especially Marisa Wright) who take the time to read through my hubs and give me such excellent advice. I can honestly say that each time I finish updating one or improving one, I feel sooo much happier with them.
Just saying thank you so that you know how much I appreciate you.
Wonderful sentiment, Tess, and I'd like to second your thanks with one from the HP Team. Helpful writers are why our community flourishes.
I'm curious, have many of them been moved to the niche sites? I've done quite a bit of updating on several of mine but after the first rush, only a few have been moved in spite of the updating.
None that were old - three that were relatively new.
That said, the one I updated and submitted was acccepted.
Two frustrate me. They were new pieces I had written. I received notices saying that if I corrected the capital letter formula that they use for titles, etc. it would qualify for a niche site. Then I was supposed to resubmit them. Only if I resubmitted them, it was the same process for the one's which I could submit voluntarily.
I have emailed hubpages about it but have received no reply as yet.
As we are only permitted one hub every two monhs, it's doesn't make sense to update in order to submit to niche sites. So there's no way for them to know that it has been updated.
I update because I think it's a good piece with traffic potential, and, of course, any increased traffic is money.
Marisa, also, what is android.apps.plus. Quite a bit of my traffic is coming from that these days. Are these bots? Fake traffic?
If they ask ypu to resubmit, they are in addition to your one every 60 days
Okay. Who do I ask. The link was to the same place where I submitted my hub that was for 60 days.
Yes, it is to exactly the same link, but they have some mechanism to distinguish the ones that they have tagged for transfer.
I can assure you, it definitely works, because I've resubmitted three in one week, and it still showed the correct number of days till my next voluntary one.
Well there was another one, but I never submitted it. I'm going to do that one as well. Thanks.
@Tess, I cannot recall if I was a help to you or not, but if I CAN be of help, just yell. I am here only when needed.
@Tess, one more time. I forgot to tell you that you might save yourself some frustration by getting with Christy at HubPages of Marisa. They know their stuff.
Sorry. didn't see you there. I just generally post and whoever responds, responds.

Many of us here are working hard to upgrade our hubs so that they can be moved to the niche sites. I think it would be a good idea if those upgrades are viewed by the team the same way as new posts so that they can more quickly addressed. It's a shame to let much better upgraded...

Aside from sharing my article links on Facebook, what are some tried and true ways of increasing traffic/reads to our articles? I'm new; 3 weeks in, have 10 published and featured articles so far. I'm trying to figure out what the number on my profile photo means exactly. I know...

Sends articles to the niche sites and gets rejected? I recently sent an interesting English History one concerning a girl (family) back in the 19th century who fell asleep for nine years and even royalty came to check her out as it was one of those strange mysterious of the time. Hubpages said it...

Back in summer of 2014 my traffic was looking pretty spiffy across all of my HP accounts. I was one happy camper. Then the Squid merger happened, and then a bunch of other bad things, culminating with the demise of subdomains a few months ago. By the time HP announced the niche site idea I'd lost...
