When I started my first hub, I followed the onscreen advice and added relevant Amazon products. However, my Hub was not approved as deemed "spammy". So I read the criteria via the link, removed the Amazon adverts and about me paragraph and resubmitted for it to be approved, although it was suggested that I add something about myself, so following the instructions I did so. I was also advised to add a source list. However as that Hub was sourced entirely from my own notebooks not feasible to do so.
Now, I have submitted another Hub after seeking inspiration, I chose a book review as my next Hub and therefore the Hub is product centric towards the book and author. I have not added any links or anything to sale sites and again my Hub has been rejected as "spammy" I don't get it. I have read and re-read the guidlines and cannot see how that could be the case. I would really, realy appreciate some guidance here guys please!

Hopefully, you can see that, although it has not gone blue, but I don't know how else I'd show it to you? It does show up if I copy and paste the link into my browser.
Also what do the numbers mean? The number on the first one has been going down? It's actually lower than the second one.
Thanks in anticipation......
We can't see it, Lyn, as it says 'no longer published'. HubPages should have included a special link for you to post it here. Have a look at the email.
Hello LiveMusicLoverLyn, Your article has been reviewed and is now featured. We apologize for the inconvenience. http://hubpages.com/literature/Wolf-Bro … elle-Paver
If you have any more questions, please email team@hubpages.com.
Thanks, it was not an email, just the message at the top of my page. I guess I'll get an email and then post it. Thanks again.
It looks like both of your hubs are featured now. Good for you.
Thank you - I really think I am going to like it here!
I wrote a Hub that you might find helpful. It's called The Basic HubPages Rules and you'll find it on the slider on my profile.
HubPages has a huge Learning Center but it can be overwhelming for newbies. My Hub summarises all the essential rules to get you started.
One thing I notice from your initial post - you mention adding something about yourself in the Hub. "Self-promotion" is not allowed, so that might have been one of your problems. In the My Account section you'll find a tab for "About the Author". Click on it and you'll find a place where you can write several short biographies, and choose which Hubs they display on. That's the right place to include info about yourself.

As a new hubber I have yet to link into any of my hubs , hubs of others. I see often people do this. Some do it to enhance their information. Some possibly do it to earn some of the revenue on views ( if I understand that correctly)My question is in relation to how best to approach this? If I write...

Most of my hubs are in the 70s and 80s and I have had a steady hubscore of 96 which had dropped to 94, so i deleted 10 of my low scoring hubs which were in the 40s and 50s which increased it back up to 96. Now it has gone down to 94 again! so I have deleted ALL my low scoring hubs..Is this the...
